Scarlett
Office Manager
Hi! My name is Scarlett Valdez, and I am the Office Manager at Park Avenue Dermatology with over 20 years of management experience in and out of the medical field. My passion is to make a positive impact on others and bring out the best in themselves.
I am dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture that prides itself on delivering the very best care for our patients. My commitment is a byproduct of my time away from the Dermatology Office. It stems from the shared qualities of the love of being a mother to an amazing young man, Daniel, and my time spent as a certified online fitness instructor and owner of Scarlett V. Fitness LLC. During my spare time, I enjoy traveling, giving my son new experiences, and absolutely love dancing.
Transforming lives is what’s most fulfilling and rewarding to me. I hope to be of service to you and your family alongside our wonderful doctors and office staff at Park Avenue Dermatology. I feel as though this office is my second home and I know you will too.
Esa
Front Desk | Clinical Assistant
Hey guys, My name is Esa, and I am Park Avenue Dermatology’s in-house Serbo-Croatian translator ;-). I also double as the Front Desk Coordinator. I have been working at P.A.D. for almost 11 years now, and I truly love the growth and challenge it has afforded me.
As a Front Desk Coordinator, I am the first point of contact for patients, which provides me with a great deal of satisfaction. I ensure that all our patients feel at home when they step foot in our practice, especially since over the years, our patients have become like a second family to me. One of my greatest attributes is being honest and direct.
Patty
Front Desk | Billing Manager
I am going to tell you the short, wonderful story of what makes me, me. I am originally from Venezuela. I have been happily married to my husband for 14 years, I am a mother of 2 girls, and grandmother to one beautiful baby boy. I love to travel and go anywhere my little heart desires. Whether near or far, I will always make an effort to go. Cultures build character, and experiences make me.
I live by this motto, “LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE.” You have to LIVE every moment in life to the fullest extent, with no regrets. LAUGH out loud often, and let everyone know that happiness fills your every breath. Last, and most importantly, you must LOVE everyone in your life and what you do in it with all you have, which means family, friends, and the place you work for.
Park Dermatology is a great place to work, learn, build relationships, and experience. We are here to serve our patients from the moment you walk to our doors.
Destiny
Medical Assistant
I come from a small desert town called Brawley California. 3 years ago I took the risk in moving to New York City, a dream I never thought would happen.
Since living in the city, I have worked within the dermatologic field as a medical assistant and have had the pleasure of crossing paths and building a strong, close working relationship with the best, Dr. Glodny.
My favorite thing about working at Park Avenue Dermatology is the experience of both medical and cosmetic visits. I find enjoyment in helping people when in need, and making patients feel like the best version of themselves.
With also being apart of the LGBTQ+ community I have always felt acceptance and a sense of home while working at Park Avenue Dermatology.
When not in the office, My hobbies consist of fierce eye makeup, painting, spoken word poetry, and hanging out with my friends.
Angie
Medical Assistant
Hi! My name is Angie Nakhle and I am a medical assistant here at Park Avenue Dermatology. I am a mother to a wonderful boy and 3 amazing fur babies.
I love traveling the globe, fashion, and a good glass of wine. I always remind myself to always smile because “manana sera bonito.” I am an extremely positive person who always sees the brighter side 😊
Ever since I was a young girl, I knew that the medical field would be my choice of career. Prior to my time at Park Avenue Dermatology, I spent 16 years working with trauma & plastic surgery services. During this time, I became extremely interested in aesthetics and dermatology. For this reason, I love it here at Park Avenue Dermatology and the place I call home. At Park Ave Derm, I’ve found a team that I consider my work family, providing me with security and a space for personal and professional growth.
One interesting fact about me is that I am currently enrolled in an esthetician program with the goal of becoming an Aesthetic Nurse here at Park Ave Derm. My passion for my cosmetic craft guides me on a daily basis to help give the best patient care possible.
Life is all about what you make out of it; it is important to always stay positive and never lose faith in yourself. Nice to meet you!
